The Forgotten Refugees explores the rich culture of the historic Jewish communities in Arabic and North African countries, and their forced exodus after the state of Israel was established in 1948. Refugees from Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Iraq, and Morocco tells their stories, and scholars explain the reasons for their migration and resettlement.
