College of Music Faculty Ricardo Lorenz and Guest Artist Roberto Díaz, Curtis Institute of Music President and former Principal Violist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, will discuss how the songs of singer/songwriter Victor Jara as well as the dramatic events that took place in Chile during the 1970s became the sources of a highly dramatic classical music narrative inCanciones de Jara.
