'Cultural Reclamation From Afar'
(Academic) John Pirozzi has worked on various film projects in Cambodia over the last ten years. From camera operator in 2001 on Matt Dillion's City Of Ghosts to Producer, Director and Cinematographer on Sleepwalking Through the Mekong to Producer, Director on his current film Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll. He will be screening excerpts from all three films and discussing the process of working in SE Asia and his immersion into Cambodian popular culture as a vehicle explore Cambodian history.
