In partnership with MSU's American Indian Studies Program, the MSU Museum will host 2010 Michigan Heritage Awardee Renee "Wasson" Dillard, a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians in Harbor Springs who is known throughout Michigan as a master basketmaker and fiber artist.

Dillard will present a demonstration on wood harvesting, preparation and basketmaking for an MSU class, 5-8 p.m. in the MSU Museum Auditorium, and the presentation is also open to the public. November is Native American Heritage Month. Check back for other programs around campus.
