Mansoor Moaddel
Professor of Sociology
Eastern Michigan University
Dr. Moaddel studies political conflict, revolution and social change in the Middle East, examining these events through the lens of cultural values and worldviews. His research has been funded by the Ford Foundation and the National Science Foundation, and he is the author of five books and many articles.
Dr. Moaddel is a Professor of Sociology at Eastern Michigan University and is a researcher for the Population Studies Center at the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan.
Dr. Moaddel's talk is co-sponsored by the MSU Muslim Studies Program and the MSU Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. A reception will follow the presentation.
