The 2011 Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament brings 96 student teams to MSU to compete in science, engineering and problem solving events. Top participants are awarded olympic style medals at the Awards Ceremony, which begins at 6:30 pm in the MSU Auditorium. Some fifteen hundred enthusiastic and talented science students from middle and high schools, along with their coaches and parent supporters, will enjoy MSU's facilities from 7am-8:30pm on April 30. MSU has hosted the State Tournament since 1990, and this year's competition is under the sponsorship of University Outreach & Engagement.
