The W.J. Beal Botanical Garden is the oldest continuously operated university botanical garden of its kind in the United States. Peter's delightful anecdotes and vast knowledge of plants make his tours an enjoyable way to spend the lunch hour! Learn about spring ephemerals, plants that flower for a very short time and thrive in the sunlight on the forest floor before the trees above leaf out.

In case of inclement weather, join us in the Main Library North Conference Room (W449) for a virtual tour of the Beal Garden.
