Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway
(Exhibits (Museum, Gardens, ...))
Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway with Artist Ray Troll and Paleontologist Kirk Johnson is an exhibit that brings together the best of the MSU Museum's fossil collection and the fossil-inspired artwork of celebrated artist Ray Troll to explore questions about evolution, extinction, and early life on Earth. Troll's whimsical illustrations of imagined scenes from prehistoric times help bring to life real fossils of giant ammonites, killer pigs, saber-toothed cats, dinosaurs and more incredible fossils from the MSU Museum's paleontology collection.
Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway with Artist Ray Troll and Paleontologist Kirk Johnson was organized by the Burke Museum at the University of Washington, Seattle in collaboration with Ray Troll and Kirk Johnson. Major sponsorship for the traveling exhibit has been provided by Microsoft Corporation, Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, Pendleton and Elisabeth Carey Miller Charitable Foundation, and Wells Fargo.
The exhibition at the MSU Museum made possible by the support of the MSU Federal Credit Union. more information...
