Dying to be Heard  (Movie / Film)

Presented by Gary Morgan, MSU Museum, and Pam Rasmussen, Department of Zoology

In coordination with the MSU Museum exhibit "Echoes of Silent Spring"

Cosponsored by the Library Environmental Series

Dying to be Heard is the 30-minute documentary produced by students in the MSU Knight Center for Environmental Journalism.

The film tells the story of Michigan State University professor George J. Wallace, who discovered a link between DDT and dying birds on the MSU campus. His work was highlighted in Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring, which helped launch the modern environmental movement.
