An all-day workshop that begins with a faculty-led presentation about how the brain learns. Students will then get the opportunity to do what real neuroscientists do: section and stain a brain and examine brain sections using microscopes. Students will make and take home a micrograph of the hippocampus, an important brain area for learning.
