One of the world's most respected orchestras, the BBC Concert Orchestra appears regularly on BBC Radio and BBC Television and at the legendary Proms in London. Led by popular Boston Pops Principal Conductor Keith Lockhart, this all-British performance showcases Elgar's passionate Cello Concerto featuring Sophie Shao. The performance also includes Elgar's Enigma Variations, Britten's Four Sea Interludes and Butterworth's The Banks of the Green Willow. On Thursday, January 31, 2013, The BBC Concert Orchestra will take to the Cobb Great Hall stage.
