The world's most famous flute player Sir James Galway is the supreme interpreter of the classical flute repertoire and a consummate entertainer, whose appeal crosses all musical boundaries and ages. A musical legend, his virtuosity is equaled only by his limitless musical vision. In a program expected to include works ranging from Mancini, Mozart and Debussy, the "Man with the Golden Flute" will be joined by his wife, flutist Lady Jeanne Galway, and an ensemble of musicians for a night you won't want to miss. One of James Galway's recent releases, O'Reilly Street, is a collaboration with Cuban timba group Tiempo Libre, who can also be seen on the Wharton Center's 2012-2013 season. more information...
