At the end of the activity (1st presentation), the participants will be better able to:
1. Develop and understanding for the need of such a relationship partnership
2. Understand the potential risks and benefits of establishing a partnership
3. Explore an example(s) of how a partnership has succeeded
4. Discuss the plan of action in our community
2nd Presentation:
1. Understand the basic physiology of lactation and the basic requirements for breastfeeding
2. Know some of the benefits of breastfeeding
3. Know some individual, institutional and community breastfeeding resources available for mothers
3rd Presentation:
1. Evaluate current communication methods used at Sparrow Hospital
2. Discuss & interpret data gathered through communication surveys & interpret limitations in the data gathering
3. Discuss improvement in communication in the healthcare setting
