Inportance of Vaccines for the Health of our Global Community  (Conferences / Seminars / Lectures)

At the end of the activity, the participants will be better able to:

1. Discuss the success and challenges of vaccines on limiting impact of vaccine preventable diseases
2. Describe the relationship between global vaccination efforts and local health needs
3. Demonstrate differences in vaccine preventable disease incidence between developed and developing countries
4. Describe barriers to vaccine access and delivery in developing and developed countries
5. Discuss examples of global immunization campaigns and their different levels of success

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Michigan State University and Sparrow.
