At the end of the activity, the participants will be better able to:
1. Encourage physicians to educate and inform policymakers about the public health impact and costs of excessive drinking.
2. Articulate evidence-based policy measures to prevent excessive drinking.
3. Encourage physicians to screen and counsel their patients for excessive alcohol use.
