As part of the International Year of Statistics 2013 supported by many professional organizations, we are organizing a Statistics in Applications Forum at MSU on October 1.
The Statistics in Applications Forum will showcase application in high throughput data technologies, health sciences research, biological sciences, where statistical methods play an important role. The purpose is to promote awareness of the breadth of statistical applications and possible careers in the statistical sciences.
