MSUFCU Family Discovery Day

Families will "explore the extraordinary" at the 2nd annual MSUFCU Family Discovery Day, set for 2 - 4pm on Sunday, Nov. 10 at the MSU Museum. An afternoon of activities center around the new special exhibit: "Extraordinary Ordinary People: American Masters of Traditional Arts," which features photography, multimedia, and artifacts profiling National Endowment for the Arts Heritage Fellows from across the U.S. and highlights Michigan connections.
Thanks to the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union for supporting this major exhibit and activities for MSUFCU Family Discovery Day.
Activities include: clogging with Sheila Graziano and Meredith Brown (2013 Michigan Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program awardees), face painting, scavenger hunt of extraordinary artifacts in the Museum, take home hands-on activities including decorating a photo frame with a family picture in it and weaving a basket on a cup, and prize drawings - show a completed scavenger hunt and enter to win prizes (drawing at 3:45).
