REVIEWS OF OMER AVITAL:
Omer Avital plays ". . . a deep organic fusion of Middle Eastern and North African music with current cutting-edge jazz . . . incantatory melodies and throbbing rhythmic patterns that are foreign until you feel their universal human celebration . . ." - JazzTimes Magazine
"Over the last few years he has become a leading force in a hybrid that synthesizes American jazz, Israeli, Yemeni, Moroccan, and other Arab styles into something genuinely new and vital for its connection to a shared Middle Eastern past." ~ Ben Waltzer, Tablet Magazine
