Pediatric Grand Rounds, "Building a Culture of Safety within Graduate Medical Education" presented by: Heather Laird-Fick, MD, MPH, FACP,
Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University.
At the end of the presentation, the participants will be better able to:
1.Define practices that support a culture of safety
2.Identify ways in which residencies at MSU and Sparrow support a culture of safety
3.Discuss ways in which safety can be incorporated into daily clinical activities.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Michigan State University and Sparrow. Michigan State University is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
