Sharper Focus/Wider Lens presents: What Divides Us/What Unites Us  (Public Programs)

"What Divides Us/What Unites Us" features leading MSU Faculty: Kayla Hales, Dan Kramer, Chuck Ostrom, Jr., Sean Valles, and Suzanne Evans Wagner. This faculty panel will explore the role of language, ideology, genetic make-up, communication technology and globalization as factors and forces which can unite or divide us. The event will be moderated by Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore, dean of the MSU Honors College.

Sharper Focus/Wider Lens offers students, faculty, staff and the Greater Lansing community the opportunity to grapple with important issues or questions in a trans-disciplinary format. The faculty panel brings their unique research, teaching and writing experiences from a wide range of disciplines to explore contemporary and historical issues.

This event is part of the MSU Project 60/50 conversation.
