Fall Convocation and One Book One Community Presentation, Breslin Center. Doors Open at 7:30 a.m. YOU MUST BE SEATED NO LATER THAN 8:45 a.m.
•As a new student, you are REQUIRED to attend this formal ceremony that marks the beginning of each academic year. President Lou Anna K. Simon, Provost June Pierce Youatt and representatives from each of the undergraduate degree-granting colleges will welcome you to the "pioneer land-grant university." Additionally, student a cappella groups will perform and special guest , co-authors U.S. Congressman John Lewis and Andrew Aydin of March Book One, the One Book One Community book will address you, the newest members of the MSU community.
