Panelists: Dr. Freya Anderson Rivers, author of "Swallowed Tears: A Memoir" and first black woman to enroll at Louisiana State in 1964; Jewell Debnam, PhD Candidate, Michigan State University, Department of History; Dr. Eva Evans, 24th International President of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and past Chairman of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights; Carmen Benavides, Retired Lansing School District Principal.
