Annual Heavenrich Lecture presented by Steve Guertin, MD, Director of Pediatric Intensive Care, Sparrow Hospital, Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
At the end of the presentation, the participant will be able to: 1.Recognize the developmental and lifelong consequences of witnessing domestic violence; 2.Recognize the relationship between domestic violence and the physical abuse of children; 3.Understand that domestic violence is, of itself, a particularly destructive,
pernicious form of child abuse.
