"In the Shadow of Cortes: From Veracruz to Mexico City" A Photographic Exhibit will be housed in the Lookout! Gallery at Snyder-Phillips Hall from March 16 - April 17, 2015
Wednesday, April 15:

Seminar:
"Indigenous Perspectives of Latin American Historical Narratives." In this seminar, Graduate Students from Romance and Classical Studies discuss the works of invited faculty in a dynamic dialogue. Open to interested graduate students, faculty and staff.
5:00-6:30 PM, C020 Snyder Hall (Auditorium)
Panel Discussion and Round Table:
Introduction to Indigenous voices of the conquest of Mexico and "the Shadow of Cortés": The Broken Spears by the students of IAH203-Native Latin America.
Join the following scholars, specialists and students of Indigenous Studies in the Americas (Mexico, Guatemala, Latin America, and the United States) for a panel discussion on representations of Mexican and Latin American diversities today.
6:30-7:30 PM, Look Out! Gallery, C200 Snyder Hall
Closing Reception:
Join us at Look Out! Gallery and meet the participants of the panel discussion and enjoy refreshments while appreciating the exhibit before it closes.
