Emulation is the most popular method of accessing vintage games and it is also the most viable method of preserving interactive software. In this talk, we will look at computer and video game emulators as a jump-off into exploring the concepts and challenges involved in preserving digital content from our (relatively) recent past, including demos on simple computers like the Raspberry Pi.
