Prague Philharmonia
(Performing Arts (Dance, Music, Theatre, ...))
One of music's most captivating and gifted artists, violinist Sarah Chang joins the Prague Philharmonia for Dvořák's technically supercharged Violin Concerto, full of heartfelt themes and a lively folk dance-inspired finale. The evening also includes Dvořák's beloved Eighth Symphony and Smetana's famous The Moldau, from Má Vlast. In addition, this exclusive performance includes pianist Andrew Von Oeyen, performing Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 and displaying what the Los Angeles Times calls "Indisputable gifts and an extravagantly thorough and effortless technique... incapable of misarticulating a musical sentence." Under the baton of Emmanuel Villaume, the Prague Philharmonia is the most requested recording orchestra in Europe, enjoying great popularity all over the continent. more information...
