Pop-Up Stories: Reaping What You Sow
(Public Programs)
They say you should treat others the way you want to be treated, but what happens when you don't?
We want to hear your personal stories of good deeds, karma, revenge, and "reaping what you sow."
Maybe you did something you shouldn't have and you got what was coming to you... or you got away with it. What did you learn?
On the other hand, you might have a story of hard work that paid off, or a tale of spreading kindness that has a happy ending.
Come join us at Lansing City Market for an evening of community storytelling on the theme "reaping what you sow."
Stories should be true, firsthand accounts. They should be around five minutes long and family and FCC friendly. If you don't have a story to share, come enjoy yourself as an audience member!
WKAR's Katie Cook will be hosting the event, and food and beverages can be purchased at the Waterfront Bar and Grill.
If you want to sign up to tell a story, or request additional information or assistance for persons with disabilities, please email Katie Cook at kcook@wkar.org. more information...
