Sense of Self: Accessible Art Symposium
(Exhibits (Museum, Gardens, ...)) Join us for an exploration of sensory perception, identity and accessibility hosted by Exceptions, an MSU-based literary and art journal that showcases the perspectives of visually impaired and blind individuals. Keynote offered by renowned disabilities scholar Georginia Kleege. Her collection of personal essays, "Sight Unseen," offers an autobiographical account of Kleege's own blindness alongside a cultural critique of how blindness is represented in literature, film and language.
