Year of Global Africa: Wharton Center/World View Lecture Series - Lynn Nottage, Pulitzer playwright  (Public Programs)

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and screenwriter Lynn Nottage's plays, including "Ruined" and "Intimate Apparel," often deal with lives of women of African descent and of forgotten voices within our society.  Her most recent Broadway play, "Sweat," received rave reviews and a Tony Award nomination.  The story follows the decades-long hard labor of characters whose livelihoods are threatened by the evaporation of manufacturing jobs in America.
