Big Green Gig
(Student Events)
The Big Green Gig is a local Earth Day festival celebrating the environment and community. Local musicians will provide entertainment and local food trucks will be present. Student environmental groups will have kid-friendly activities. If you go to all of the activities, you will be entered in the raffle!
Live Music: local bands, including Monte Pride and Composetheway and more!
Food Trucks: Detroit Frankie's Pizza, El Burrito Mexicano and more!
Activities: making bird feeders, compost bins, and bat houses; painting flower pots and wood stumps; environmental trivia, face painting and more!
Presented to you by EL's Community Relations Coalition (dedicated to bridging the gap between students and permanent residents) and MSU's Green Alliance (a coalition of student environmental organizations).
