Robert L. Green, who holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology from MSU and B.A and M.A. degrees from San Francisco State College, is a former president of the University of the District of Columbia and former dean of the College of Urban Development at MSU. With the support of Ambassador Young, Dr. Green worked for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as the education director of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference from 1965 to 1967.
