Listen/Hear: Broad Underground Film Series

Take a moment to step back, take a breath and listen. Listen/Hear is a programmed in dialog with the work of upcoming MSU Broad artist, Lawrence Abu Hamdan, whose art work engages with the act of hearing and listening. Starting with the act of biologic hearing to the extensions of listening in recent times, we will consider the implications of listening and hearing. In this screening we ask, how does listening and how does hearing, impact our lives? How do we, in fact, listen, and how do we hear?
