Sharper Focus/Wider Lens "New Subjects/New Tools"  (Public Programs)

The Honors College's next Sharper Focus/Wider Lens will feature the topic, "Digging Up The Past: New Subjects/New Tools" at 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 28. This event is free and open to the public and will be located in the MSU Main Library Green Room (4th Floor).

It features a trans-disciplinary discussion among MSU faculty covering their research and teaching of user-centered digital history, forensic archaeology, African diaspora, Japanese internment camps and more. Audience Q & A will follow.

Speakers include:

Stacey Camp, associate professor, Department of Anthropology and director, Campus Archaeology Program
Glenn Chambers Jr., associate professor, Department of History
Siddharth Chandra, professor, James Madison College and director, Asian Studies Center
Noah Kaye, assistant professor, Department of History
Sharon Leon, associate professor, Department of History
The panel will be moderated by Cynthia Jackson-Elmoore, dean and professor, Honors College.
