A project-based ensemble with a "Theatre of Music" styled presentation of new works performs Sparrows by Joseph Schwantner. Written in 1979, the piece paints lyrical and musical expressions of text, "dream-stages," of Japanese haiku poetry by Kobayashi Issa.
