Three short films explore the politics of art in the context of complex German histories.
At once an experimental filmmaker, documentarist, and collage artist, Dammbeck came of age in East Germany and has worked in Hamburg since 1986. He is currently on US tour with a retrospective of his work. Prof. Lily Woodruff (AAHD) will serve as respondent in discussion with the filmmaker himself.
