"Teal Talk" with Dr. Teresa Mastin, College of Communication Arts and Sciences  (Public Programs)

Dr. Teresa Mastin is a professor and chairperson in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations. Mastin's primary research interests include media advocacy as a public relations tool, media coverage of health issues related to women, and disadvantaged and/or vulnerable populations, especially in regard to individuals residing in struggling urban communities and developing countries.

Using Sustained Dialogue to Address Sexual Misconduct
Sustain dialogue (SD) " . . . works to improve community capacity to engage differences as strengths while helping people move from dialogue to action." This talk shares how the SD process can be used to address sexual misconduct. Audience members will have an opportunity to participate in a SD exercise. Attendees should bring one item, e.g., picture, object, etc., that will help others understand her/him.

The exhibition is now on display in the Main Gallery at the MSU Museum through March 2020.
