Student Algebra & Combinatorics
Joshua Ruiter from MSU will be speaking. The title of the presentation is "Galois descent."
This seminar will be taking place over Zoom.
We'll introduce and motivate techniques of Galois descent for classifying twisted forms of algebras, using non-abelian group cohomology. We'll also describe a connection to relative Brauer groups. more information...
