Rethink unwanted items in this transformative papermaking workshop! Take the lead from our Spartan Upcycle x Art Lab resident artist Megan Heeres and use a selection of found materials from the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center for making your own paper. Learn to formulate pulp, mold your own unique sheets of paper, and embed unconventional items into the surface. Megan Heeres is a Detroit-based artist whose work is based in papermaking and sculptural installations that consider unwanted everyday materials and the communities in which they come from. Cost of registration ($45) covers all materials and instruction.
