National SOMA Naloxone (Narcan) Training
(Student Events) Student Osteopathic Medical Association Overdose Prevention Task Force invites all students to join our Spring Naloxone Training. Students will receive an introduction to opioids, a history of the opioid epidemic and current overdose statistics in the US. By the end of the training you will be able to recognize and adequately respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone. Resources will be given on how to obtain Naloxone at no cost.
