Art, music, poetry, and spoken word come together to tell a story about the inhumanity of the US carceral system in DIE/GEST, an interactive mixed media installation created by artist Mia Pearlman, jazz musician Albert Marquès, and Keith LaMar, a writer, artist, and activist who has spent almost 30 years in solitary confinement on death row in Ohio. Join us for the opening reception of DIE/GEST, including a special live music and spoken-word performance by Albert Marquès and Keith LaMar. Registration for this free event is required.
