In this interactive session, you will learn to effectively introduce yourself and outline your course to your students in a course introduction video. We'll focus on the essential components of a compelling introduction video, including sharing your academic and professional background, explaining the course structure, and setting clear expectations.
Our goal is to empower you to create a welcoming and trustworthy environment through a course introduction video, enhancing student engagement and confidence in your course.
Upon completion of this learning experience participants will be able to:
Identify key elements of an engaging course introduction video
Utilize the tools and resources needed to create their own introduction videos
Enhance visual engagement in introduction videos
This presentation is intended for all MSU educators, particularly those who are eager to enhance student engagement through course introduction videos.
