Center for Statistical Training Consulting Workshop: Introduction to Missing Data
(Conferences / Seminars / Lectures) This workshop, presented by Dr. Tenko Raykov, Professor of Measurement and Quantitative Methods in the College of Education, discusses initially patterns and mechanisms of missing data, and subsequently the flaws of traditional methods for 'dealing' with missing data. Two modern, principled and state-of-the-art methods are then focused on - maximum likelihood (full information maximum likelihood) and multiple imputation. Throughout the workshop, a number of empirical examples are used. On the software level, the popular packages R and Mplus are utilized on multiple occasions.
