JCMU is excited to announce that the 19th Annual Michigan Japanese Quiz Bowl (MJQB) will be held at Wells Hall on the campus of Michigan State University (MSU) on Saturday, March 3, 2012. The MJQB brings together hundreds of students of Japanese from elementary through high school, as well as parents, teachers and volunteers for a day of Japanese language competition, culture and fun. Since its start almost 20 years ago, the MJQB has grown into an event that hundreds look forward to each spring and we look forward to the continued success of the event at MSU.

The event is being coordinated by the Japan Center for Michigan Universities (JCMU), the MSU Asian Studies Center, and the Office of Gifted and Talented Education with generous support from the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit and the Japan Business Society of Detroit (JBSD).
