The Hunger Dialogues  (Special Events)

On Monday, November 19, from 8:15 to 10:15 p.m., students from the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) will be hosting the first in a series of Hunger Dialogues for over 100 MSU students, faculty and staff. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the theme of this first dialogue will be the family meal, its content and structure.

Participants in The Hunger Dialogues will be served one of three different "holiday" meals from three different regions of the world. There will be a discussion of United States Thanksgiving meals as a point of departure, and the Thanksgiving meal will be contrasted with other holiday meals in these other regions of the world in which thanks is given.

The next set of Hunger Dialogues will look beyond the structure of the family meal to investigate other national and global structural aspects of food systems.

Participating in The Hunger Dialogues is free, but space is limited. Reserve your spot before November 11!
