Tony Kushner, World View and CAL Leading Voices Lecture Series  (Conferences / Seminars / Lectures)

"Some playwrights want to change the world. Some want to revolutionize theater. Tony Kushner is that rarity of rarities: a writer who has the promise to do both." -The New York Times

Tony Kushner is best-known for his Pulitzer Prize and Tony AwardŽ-winning play Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes. He takes glee in tackling the most difficult subjects in contemporary history and confronting his audience with funny, agonizing and startling truths. He was nominated for a screenwriting Oscar for the Steven Spielberg film, Lincoln.
